Well, actually, these are the ordinary Lego bricks! It is amazing that they look the right size even for the Sashas. I bought a set of Nano Bricks, but it is far too fiddly for me to construct - so it will go to one of my grandchildren! Maybe they will allow the finished mode to be displayed in the Sasha room! xxx

Unfortunately we can't claim to having them in our house (not being on the market in those days() BUT we did have their fore-runner, the brown rubber mini-bricks with the green rubber bases and roofs.
We also had an heirloom minature metal garden set, complete with path and lawn bricks, garden pieces in various shapes and sizes with holes in, in which a variety of flowers, trees and shrubs could be planted, a wheelbarrow and gardening tools and finally a little greenhouse to complete the scene..... and all of which could be used in conjunction with the mini-bricks set.
That's very interesting, Kendal. I don't remember the rubber bricks. Do you still have any of them and that garden set, which sounds amazing and just right for a Sasha prop? I think my Mum bought us the first real Lego bricks when they had just come on the market. Must have cost her a lot! I have always been fond of Lego and so are my children and now the grandkids! We have tons of the stuff! Hanna (granddaughter a Tiffin girl) even used the Lego bricks to create a human cell for her science project! It was ingenious, I have to say. She used all sorts of odds and ends from the Lego box! Won first prize too! I was quite surprised that the ordinary Lego bricks did not seem the wrong size for the Sasha kids. It was fun setting that one up. xxx Karin

Lego is popular with our family too. Harry needs Duplo to be safe (ie ordinary size Lego bricks rather than the nano bricks).

It's a great toy, Ginger! The models were 'made earlier' by my grandchildren! All of them Lego fans! xxx
