SOPHIE AND ALIYAH

FARMPANTS PASSION

Sophie, Trendon Redhead Dungarees Girl 1970 and Aliyah, Trendon 1969 are showing off their Farmpants from ‘A Passion for Sasha’. These outfits are just a tad big for the very dainty earlier Trendons, but let’s say they have been handed down from their bigger sisters (a little white lie!) Actually they have only just arrived and the girls love them.

They both have super-soft hair. I love the bob on Aliyah. It is so well cut. And Sophie’s plaits speak for themselves.

Two sweet little Trendon girls. Two Sashas to fall in love with, aaaaaaah

And now for something completely different...
And here we have the new Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge. Wasi works there and they have just completed the move (from about ½ mile away). It was quite an undertaking. Stunning building. The chimneys at the top, when seen from above, depict a Chromosome.

    1. That's good to hear, that Ginny is coming. I shall start saving, ha ha! The building is amazing. They had truly outgrown the old one. I hope it will deliver the amazing work that the old one did! xxx Karin

  3. Two lovely little girls Karin, I really like their outfits, very comfortable and child-like!
And that is a very interesting looking building, I'd be interested to see it from above! The chimneys actually look a bit like they should be plugged into the USB port on a computer! The poppies look pretty too!
    Hugs Sharon in Spain xx

    1. You are right - they do look like some sort of plug-in device on a computer! They are cooling towers/chimneys, apparently. It is an amazing looking building. A few hickups inside to sort out, but then it has only just started to be in use. xxx Karin

    1. I was hoping to be in time to buy one of your dungarees for my dungarees girl, but no such luck! Ginny's outfits are a bit on the large side, but they are very well made and they do look cute in them. They fit the later Trendons better. The new LMB building is up for a prize! Let's see what happens. Nice to hear from you. xxx Karin

  5. IMO farmpants should be a little 'roomy' to allow for ease of work on the farm, or in their case, play!
Both girls look delightful and read to have some fun without the need of trying to keep immaculately clean and tidy.
I love Sashas with cut bobbed or plaited hair! Just MY kind of girls!

Most impressed with Cambridge's new purpose built Molecular Biology building with it's fabulous sharp straight lines and colourful landscape of red poppies amongst the wheat.

    2. Thank you, Kendal, for pointing this out to me! It is obvious, once you think about it - you do need room to move within your clothes when you are busy!
The building is most impressive. I haven't seen the inside yet, but Wasi says that the space inside is conceptually very forward-looking and quite unlike any lab he has ever worked in. Maybe I can get some pictures when I get to see it. Hope you are keeping well. xxx Karin
