Tagan

Introducing Tagan

Here is the new addition to the Sasha Familie. A Kiltie, named 'Tagan'.
I had trouble deciding what clothes she should wear. Tried a couple of dresses, but I think this outfit by Petrana suits her. She is probably going to be a jeans and sweater girl. Time will tell.

Her hair was a bit squashed, as it was in a hairnet and the head was protected by bubble wrap when she came. I decided to wash it and put it in curlers. Well, I ended up with an amazing 'bob'. Not a good style on her! I made it wet again and tried to calm the whole thing down by putting the hair into 4 plaits. The above is the result.

This type of hair obviously needs a different approach to the nylon hair of the other dolls. Some advice would be appreciated.

Lovely new girl, I do love the red heads.
She looks great in her outfit.

Cannot give any advice about her hair , way to worried about washing any of my real hair girls!

She is gorgeous, well the red heads always are I find! ;-) Actually ALL the Sashas are gorgeous really.

No idea about the hair, I have enough problem with my own! LOL

Well, that makes me either brave or foolish!!! I seem to have got away with it, but I shan't do it again!

I am not getting very much help with my little problem! I agree with you: all Sashas are beautiful - and I want to own the lot of them! Dream on...

Afraid that I can't be of any help either when washing Sasha's hair, especially the real hair wigs, as I have never dared attempt it in case I got some water into the rooting holes and caused any harm.
I do find though, like you have here, that certain dolls look better in certain styles, lengths and colours and feel that you have 'hit the jackpot' here with this dungaree outfit for your new limited edition doll, Kiltie.
Sasha love from Kendal.

Now I'm really worried!!! I do hope that I haven't ruined my lovely Kiltie!!! One must not forget, however, that she was made as a 'plaything' for little girls long before we started to collect them as something special!!! And some little girls can be quite hard on their dolls! So here's hoping...

Well, apparently I did, just what I shouldn't have done! The information was there all the time on Susanna Lewis's excellent 'How to care for your Sasha doll's hair' page! What is done is done - but I shan't do it again!!! Phew...
