Whose bike???

Toby-James's new bike???

Toby-James is showing off what he considers to be his Christmas present. He had seen it at the Fitzwilliam Museum shop and he really liked it. 'Living in Cambridge, you have to have a bike', he said, 'and this one is just like a real student bike!' 'Fine', says Hanna, 'but just because you have the bike, doesn't mean that you are a student! So let us have a turn as well!'  'All in good time!' Toby replies.

Baby Peter takes a turn riding pillion! The girls are a little concerned that he might fall off! 'Hold on tight, Peter!'

'Come on', says Lukas, 'let the others have a go now. I am sure we are meant to share this thing!' 'Oh, all right then! But be careful that you don't fall off it', Toby-James says as he dismounts!' 'Come to think of it', says Hanna, 'aren't you suppose to wear a helmet?' 'Well, I am not wearing yours'. It's PINK!'

Love the Bike the perfect size and of course if you live in Cambridge you must have a bike!

Glad to see Toby James sharing and giving Peter a ride. I can see lots of adventures ahead!

If you have got the boys a bike then living in Cambridge you have got to get the girls a CAMBRIDGE COMPANY LEATHER SATCHEL (I bought my daughter one and she loves it!!)

Wonderful bike and definitely needed in Cambridge, although yes I do believe he must share it with the others.

The bike was a Christmas present to me from my husband! I couldn't believe it when he asked me whether I would like it for my Sashas!!! What has gotten into this man? A friend and I then had to take one of the Sashas to the museum to make sure it was actually the right size! My friend, Wendy, was not at all sure that we wouldn't be carted off as a pair of lunatics. She just doesn't get that Sasha thing! xxx Karin

did they have other bikes in the Museum Shop? They don't have them on the online shop.

He most definitely must share, though it must be hard.

They have two different sizes. This is the larger one. I looked online too and could not find them there. I think it is part of their 'Cambridge Collection' where they sell items which have a vague Cambridge connection. A lot cheaper than the American Dolls bikes, although those are really nice. xxx Karin

Well, where do I start? Briefly, a lady named Julie (from Cambridge) decided to remake the traditional school satchel and started a business in her kitchen using all British materials and workers. She sent some samples to fashion bloggers and then it really took off all colours and variations of the school satchel are available. They are 'the' bag of the moment and are really well made with that lovely 'leather' smell! They have opened a store in Covent garden and ship orders all over the world. Unfortunately only in big girl sizes and not Sasha sized :)

Thanks Ronnie, I went online and you are right - they are very handsome indeed! They have a great music bag as well. They even have the Cambridge Bike as a symbol under their name! Gorgeous colours! Do you own one, may I ask??? Maybe we should ask Julie to do a few small ones for Sashas??? Nothing seems too good for Sashas, it seems! She may well be able to sell a few! xxx karin

Such a cool bike! Glad that Toby is going to share though, because it would be awfully sad for the others if he kept it all to himself!
Hugs Sharon in Spain x

My daughter has a navy 'batchell' which I bought for her which she loves. I did email the company about making small size ones from their leather offcuts...they could follow what Mulberry handbags do and make key rings or miniature purses...but sadly they never bothered to reply!!!

It's a shame they didn't look into your suggestion. I think they are missing a trick there. I bet your daughter is pleased with her batchel! Lucky girl. xxx Karin
